These completed files are of hostels grouped into the historic counties Lancashire (southern part, south of Morecambe Bay) (for example Manchester hostel) and Cheshire (Chester).
Profiles for hostels on the Isle of Man, when completed, will also be found here.
These counties were represented regionally by YHA’s Lakeland, Manchester and Merseyside regions up to 1965, and Lakes, Peak and Merseyside regions 1965-86.
