Youth Hostel Profiles:
East Anglia (Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex)
These completed files are of hostels grouped into the historic counties of Norfolk (for example, Sheringham hostel), Suffolk (Blaxhall) and Essex (Saffron Walden).
These profiles were represented regionally YHA’s East Anglia (Eastern) and London regions up to 1961/65, and an enlarged Eastern region 1961/65-86. The early amalgamation date of 1961 reflected the merging of the small Cambridge and East Anglia regions in that year.
